Mirabilia is the Special Project organized by 21 Chambers of Commerce and Unioncamere, with the technical-scientific support of Isnart, to connect and enhance areas that share significant historical, cultural and environmental importance, as well as characterized by the presence of UNESCO World Heritage sites.
A partnership with the aim to create an interaction between institutional and economic actors and between governance models underlying local development policies, to which the Chambers of Commerce and all the structures of the chamber system can join.
The Mirabilia Network was one of the signatories of the Glasgow Declaration which aims to reduce pollution sources. This confirms the commitment to 360-degree sustainability, through the dissemination of culture, policies, technologies and practices that can cope with events such as market volatility, social conflicts and extreme weather events.
Mirabilia organizes educational tours focused on promoting local artistic craftsmanship, promotes the Master in Cultural Heritage Management for tourism development with the University of Perugia, and the Tourism Lab Academy, a training program organized by Isnart and Universitas Mercatorum to ensure the professional skills of tourism businesses and Chamber of Commerce staff are updated and improved.
The Mirabilia Special Project adopts advanced technologies to promote accessibility and enjoyment of cultural sites. This includes the development of technological applications and thematic tourist routes. Moreover, the union between Mirabilia and PID, Punto Impresa Digitale, has given rise to the “Top of the PID Mirabilia” award, in which innovative projects in the field of tourism are awarded.
