Verona Chamber of Commerce
The city of Verona was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002, for its urban peculiarities and artistic and for its cultural heritage. With its urban and architectural structure, it represents an exceptional example, since it has developed progressively and continuously for over 2 thousand years, incorporating artistic elements of the highest quality for each subsequent period. This province is also home to a valuable site: the Fortress of Peschiera del Garda, which obtained recognition in 2017, as part of the transnational asset “Venetian defense works of the 16th and 17th centuries. Land State-Western Sea State”, consisting of 6 structures located between Italy, Croatia and Montenegro.
